Just like the Inno3D GeForce4 MX440-8X Review, an AGP8X motherboard had to be used to make full use of the capabilities of the Xabre400.

As seen, the Xabre400 only supports 16-bit textures despite running at 32-bit color mode. This should probably explain the visual quality difference noticed in the cards. Either way, a comparison with the exact same settings would be impossible due to the limitation of the Xabre400.
