Conclusion

Epox has made another winner with their 8KTA3+Pro. The added FSB settings, added voltage and the removal of the jumper setting for toggling 100mhz and 133mhz fsb speeds make the board even more overclocker friendly. Also, the improvements on the board clearly shows that Epox does listen to its consumer. Now of course no board is perfect and the 8KTA3+Pro is no exception. I was really disappointed with my FSB overclocking and I'm blaming it on the northbridge cooling. Now I'm not saying that all the boards out there have bad heatsinks since my test board might be an isolated case. But anyway, I'm sure that any serious overclocker would not settle for stock cooling so the bad heatsink should not be too much of an issue.

Make no mistake, the 8KTA3+Pro is very much overclockable and could give your processor the boost that you couldn't get from other boards. Of course, you can always modify other boards to give more voltages but the Pro is the only one to give it to you out of the box. That in my opinion, makes this board an overclocker's choice.

Now take me home!
